Wild Tiquicia
Photographic Adventures in Costa Rica

“Wild Tiquicia” is a collection of photographs of animals and landscapes taken throughout Costa Rica. The term “Tiquicia” is the moniker that Costa Ricans use for their country.

During the period of time that I lived in Costa Rica, photography was the excuse that my wife and I used to get to know the natural wonders of the country. The result was a broad range of pictures of animals and scenery in mountains, on beaches, in the rain forest, and around many rivers.

Over time, I found that family, friends, and coworkers also enjoyed the fruits of our photographic labor. The “Wild Tiquicia” collection is a way of sharing our travels and the beauty designed by God which we were able to capture.

The book is made up of 240 pages, including 14 chapters of photographs and an extensive index. Each photograph comes with a description which identifies the subject of the photograph. Additionally, facts about the subject and/or brief stories about taking the photograph are also included. The text is written in both English and Spanish.
